Call for Abstracts: 8th Annual PIRN/RRPH Meeting

We are accepting abstract submissions for the 8th Annual PIRN/RRPH Meeting, taking place November 11–13, 2026 at the Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning.

We encourage trainees at all levels, clinicians (e.g. pediatricians, nurses, allied health), investigators, researchers, research staff, parent and youth members to submit abstracts of ongoing (project proposal or work-in-progress) or completed research projects, quality improvement projects, or medical education/simulation projects related to Paediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM). There are no methodological constraints for submissions. This is a great way to obtain feedback from experts in PHM, and all submissions will be eligible to win best abstract.

The deadline to submit abstract is August 1st, 2026. Click the button below to submit an abstract. Final decisions will be emailed to presenters in early-September.

PIRN is a Canadian network developed  to generate evidence that improves care and outcomes for hospitalized children in general paediatric settings.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

We would like to acknowledge the land on which SickKids operates. For thousands of years it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat and Petun First Nations, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, Toronto is home to Indigenous Peoples from across Turtle Island. SickKids is committed to working toward new relationships that include First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples, and is grateful for the opportunity to share this land in caring for children and their families.
