This award will allow recipient to advance their career in a topic they are passionate about exploring. Project typically is initiated and completed within one year. Deadline usually October.

JHM editorial/digital fellowship
Editorial fellowship is a one year fellowship to provide exposure and experience to the peer review, editorial, and academic writing process. The digital media fellowship is a one year program designed to give individuals experience and skills in utilizing social media as a professional tool. Applications typically due in the Spring.

CIHR Reviewer in Training Program
The CIHR Reviewer in Training (RiT) Program runs twice a year during the Spring and Fall Project Grant competitions. It provides Early Career Researchers (ECRs) with an opportunity to develop their understanding of the peer review process and the key components of high-quality grant review.
